Lost Horizon - Movie 1937

    I recently watched this movie and it has some Epicurean themes.

    And I think it may relate to Vatican Saying 68 (and maybe others).

    Anyone who has watched "Seven Years in Tibet" will notice that it takes quite a bit of artisic license, but there is a mythic aspect to it nonetheless (I may watch it a second time).

    I loved the novel and the film. And I think you are right about the Epicurean themes.

    "We must try to make the end of the journey better than the beginning, as long as we are journeying; but when we come to the end, we must be happy and content." (Vatican Saying 48)
