Epicurean Friends Image Gallery
Welcome to the EpicureanFriends Image Gallery, where our Level 3 and above participants post and share images for public use in the teaching and promotion of Epicurean philosophy. Please limit contributions to those which directly relate and support the philosophy of Epicurus. - The Stoa of the Stoics, descending from Heraclitus, "the weeping philosopher" (due to fate).
- The Garden! After all, "The wise person will likely be fond of the countryside."
- The Gymnasia: Plato's Academy was a Gynamsium, as was Aristotle's Lyceum. The picture features a palaestre.
- Antisthenes (the Cynic) taught at the Cynosarges Gymnasium ... however, we tend to think of Diogenes, living in a pot.
